[xep-support] Revision bars

Dear RenderX-team, dear all,

in this mailing list I read last year, that "rx:pinpoint" may be utilized to
support the drawing of revision bars in the RenderX proprietary,
intermediate XML representation between rendering and formatting. On the
other hand doing this was not encouraged by the RenderX team and a real
support was put to a later version.

My questions:

1. Does anyone already use "rx:pinpoint" as a basis for drawing revision
change bars in XEP and can share his experiences (encouraging or
discouraging....)?
2. What is the approximate time schedule for implementing a real support for
revision bars in XEP?
