[xep-support] XEP formatter

Hello -
We are getting this error message when formatting an XML file that includes one of our TIFF files:
2012-07-19 16:50:00,256 ERROR message: com.renderx.graphics.ImageFormatException: Soft matte unsupported in TIFF image 

Courtesy of ImageMagick, I've done a dump of the TIFF file... the only thing relevant seems to be:

  Matte color: grey74


Any suggestions what to do to this image to make it processable?
