[xep-support] Non-braking apostrophe

Hi,
I have a case where a line in a block happens to end with the word
"Borrower's" and XEP is breaking the line after the apostrophe.
I know that I can force words together within an inline, but is there a
different character or setting I can use to stop this from happening without
using an inline?
In XHTML I believe ' breaks and ' does not.
