Make that XSLT parsers, not XML parsers ;-).
Also, I'm being told that the 1024 limitation is windows specific.
Higher limits exist for different operating systems.

I don't think that Java handles anything more than -Xmx1024M though, One
gig of heap space. Higher values don't seem to work. XML parsers don't
deal well with very large XMLs.
I'm not 100% on this so maybe somebody else can keep me honest here ;-).

I will try to render a fo-file from 600MB big, but i will get the
messages "out-of-memory". I try to increase the memory with the option
-Xmx1280MB ( have 2GB memory) but with no succes.
Does anybody the maximum file-size that RenderX can handle.
