[xep-support] error in including pdf files - wrong token xref

Hi, 

we have has XEP 3.8.4 running on Solaris. 

I get an 

[error] java.io.IOException: Broken pdf file. Wrong
token 'xref'

error on command line when I try to include a PDF File
generated from a Word Document and cropped with Adobe
Professional (I convert the xsl/fo file to pdf). If i
dont crop the PDF file with Professional, the file is
included correctly. When i crop the borders with adobe
professional, i get the error above. What is the
reason for this?

A fragment of the file, which i cant include in the
pdf is in the attachment.
