[xep-support] 100% compatibility with acrobat reader

Hello Frédéric,

By default XEP produce PDF version 1.4. PDF 1.4 corresponds to Acrobat
5. So you can safely use Acrobat 5 and newer with those PDFs. If
necessary you can use XEP to produce PDF 1.3 (there is a special
option for this) - in this case several features (like fill-opacity
and stroke-opacity in SVG) won't be allowed, but resulting PDFs can be
safely viewed by Acrobat 4.
I cannot say much about Acrobat 3 - I believe that most PDFs will work
fine with it, but there is no guarantee.

Best regards,
Alexander Peshkov mailto:peshkov at renderx.com
