Hello Ryan,

I was not able to reproduce the problem so some more information will
be helpful. Could you send me a sample of the problematic document together
with your fonts.xml off-list? Please keep the sample as small as possible.

RG> The "minus" is there if I render with 'Palatino Linotype' as my first font.

I suppose you are using a standard Times font used by XEP by default.
Have you tried to render a text with 'minus' sign using single Times
font with no alternatives?

RG> I'm fairly sure that all the fonts in my list have a glyph for
RG> "minus", so it should be rendered whether Times or Palatino is
RG> first in the list.

What codepoint are you using? Could it be something different from x002D?
By the way, there is no glyph named 'minus' in Times, but there is a
"hyphen" glyph.

RG> Thanks,
RG> RG

Best regards,
Alexander Peshkov mailto:peshkov at renderx.com
