[xep-support] OpenType font embedding...more

I'd like to use an OpenType font with postscript outlines (Adobe Myriad 
Pro) under the PDF generator and understand that this is not supported 
at present in XEP.
Are there any work-arounds for this problem e.g. software for converting 
the outlines to TrueType?
Is there a timescale for support for Postscript-style OpenType fonts in XEP?
