[xep-support] small caps (inline font-variant) support?

It appears a few messages have dealt with this topic.

However, it's not clear from them how to solve my problem.

What's the easiest way to get XEP to do font-variant="small-caps" like FOP
does out-of-the-box?

      http://xep.xattic.com has a search feature (powered by Google) at the
top. This search is sitewide and includes list archives for both xep-support
and xep-announce.
