They aren't many:

1) Subsetting algorithm for TrueType fonts has been significantly
  improved, leading to a considerable size reduction for PDF files
  using embedded TrueType fonts. With 2.77, embedded ArialUnicodeMS
  should add only 60 kb to the PDF size (compared to 300 kb in 2.75);

2) Formatter now correctly processes zero-width characters
  in TrueType fonts (used e.g. in Thai scripts);

3) Pdfmarks for hyperrefs are now correctly positioned in PostScript output.
