[xep-support] transparent colors in gifs

Hi XEP,

I have another question, in regard to how the "transparent" color in gif 
images appears.

In my PDF output I'm getting kind of a hot pink. I'd like it to be (a) the 
page background, or (b) white (which happens to be the page background).

But I'm afraid the only way to make this happen is to change the gif image.

Is this true?
