Alternatively, you could "plug-in" RenderX XEP by:

 

1)      purchasing a license of RenderX

2)      modifying your stylesheets to compensate for FOPs shortcomings
adding extensions for annotations 

3)      and remove FOP

Apache FOP is Apache FOP.

RenderX XEP is RenderX XEP.

 

They are not the same. XEP is not FOP, not based on FOP and has no
relationship.

 

You should contact the FOP developer's to ask your question, not us.

Hi RenderX Team,

 

I was going through your Xep4 product and It is supporting text annotation
in PDF format.

I am using Apache FOP to convert XSL-FO to PDF. Please let me know any way
to plugin text annotation functionality in our Apache base code base.

 

I am looking for any java base API to plugin in our code base and also let
me know if you providing any XSLT to convert HTML+CSS to XSL-FO format.
