That would all depend on your integration method, how you are calling XEP.
No one can guess at it without that information.

When rendering PDF's with XEP, I keep getting PDF's that have nothing but a
tiny 1 page canvas when there is no data that actually meets the logic
requirements.

Is there some configuration option that will delete These "blank" PDF's?

One server of ours deletes these "blank" PDF's and another server of ours
does not.
