I've never seen a failure of this kind (JRE failure) before.
Does it always happen in this installation, or just sometimes?
I think it's most likely that the reason is in JRE, not in XEP.
Can you try with 6u25 JRE?

If nothing helps, please let me know and I'll send you 
com.renderx.xep.cmp.Flow compiled for 1.6 (not for 1.3, as it is now), 
in case it is a compiler issue. There is nothing special in 
Flow.keepup(), all is pure Java code.
