[xep-support] How to create a PDF in PDF/X-3:2003 format?

Hi tech-support,
 
my customer wants me to give him a PDF in PDF/X-3:2003 format.
Unfortunatedly there is only an option in XEP to produce PDF/X-3:2001 
(either by processing-instructions in FO or by PDF-option in XEP.XML
config-file)
Can you help me to satisfy my customer with PDF/X-3:2003
