Paul:

Again I believe that is Java and not necessarily RenderX but I am not sure.
A 302 is a redirect I believe and depending on the security level a user
agent is normally *not allowed* by rule to automatically follow the redirect
with user interaction permission. I would resend your request on the 302 to
our direct support team as you are a supported customer
(support at renderx.com).

> If the 302 status code is received in response to a request other than GET
or HEAD, the user agent MUST NOT automatically redirect the request unless
it can be confirmed by the user, since this might change the conditions
under which the request was issued.

Thanks so much, I'll read up on these.

Another issue we've seen is external-graphic failing because a url returns a
status code of 302.
Is there a way to tell RenderX to accept this code and still look at the
body of the response?

Thanks

Or better yet, this one from IBM about chaining.

Subject: [xep-support] fo:external-graphic and SSLHandshakeException

Hi,

Getting the following error when trying to place an image...

[warning] Could not retrieve image from 'https://<our-server>/603.jpg':
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path
building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException:
PKIXCertPathBuilderImpl could not build a valid CertPath.; internal cause
is:
        java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: The certificate
issued by CN=Internal Root CA, DC=ep, DC=g is not trusted; internal cause
is:
        java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Certificate chaining
error
)))

Can anyone point to the general steps needed to solve this?

Thanks,

Paul
