Hello Stacy,

XEP does not do any of that. If the issue is still open, I'd suggest 
sending a detailed description of what you do with XEP, the source file, 
configuration file, all with real URLs, not stubs. Maybe somebody on the 
list could spend time investigating when reproducing the issue is simple.
