This worked fine: downloaded and installed Mac version of FontForge, 
opened Century Gothic font resource, exported as TTF, updated my xep.xml 
(and in this case, the font-mappings.xsl config file used by the Open 
Toolkit's FO plug-in) and got the font I wanted.
