[xep-support] Problems with Unicode 4.0 characters?

Hi,

I'm trying to finish support for some requested character entities, and am
having some [more] trouble.  I've already specified the @font-family="Arial,
Symbol, ZapfDingbats", on the <fo:root> element, and that worked for a bunch
of characters.  However, the following entities are representative of those
still coming up as white-square boxes in the PDF (opened in Acrobat 7.0
Professional):

&xrArr;
&bsim;
&ges;
&Gg;

I have the entity files referenced from my DTD where these are defined
(isoamsa.ent, isoamsr.ent, etc.) as follows, and other characters are
working OK.

<!ENTITY xrArr	"&#x027F9;" ><!--LONG RIGHTWARDS DOUBLE ARROW -->
<!ENTITY bsim	"&#x0223D;" ><!--REVERSED TILDE -->
<!ENTITY ges	"&#x02A7E;" ><!--GREATER-THAN OR SLANTED EQUAL TO -->
<!ENTITY Gg		"&#x022D9;" ><!--VERY MUCH GREATER-THAN -->

The only pattern I can detect is that those entity files which say "The
numeric character values assigned to each entity (should) match the Unicode
assignments in Unicode 4.0." are the ones having trouble.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
