The font configuration mechanism is documented in the
reference.pdf/reference.html document in the docs/ directory for 4.1.

For sure you can use the CJK fonts provided by Adobe as part of the CJK
support package for Acrobat 5. You can use the fonts where they are
installed under the Acrobat distribution or copy them wherever. Then
it's just a matter of pointing to the appropriate AFM file (as for any
Type 1 font).

I haven't tried it, but I believe that 4.x now supports TrueType/Open
Type font collections, which means you can use the Windows-provided CJK
fonts installed when you install that Asian regional support. That is,
if you're on Windows.

There also open-license fonts for Chinese and other Asian languages if
you're on other platforms.

If you've configured the fonts for 3.x the same basic font info should
translate directly to the 4.x font configuration mechanism.

Cheers,

Eliot
