[xep-support] Truetype problems

I just upgraded to XEP 3.8.4, and it seems that there's some strangeness  
going on with my fonts; whereas things were just peachy with the previous  
version, now I'm getting

[error] Unsupported file format or broken file found reading font metric  
 from file:/D:/[stuff]/XEP/afm/OfficinaSerifBook.ttf: Invalid  
TrueType/OpenType file structure: no 'name' table found

Which is frustrating, because this wasn't an issue previously.

Any advice on fixing this?
