Hello Keith,

You have to insert zero-width space () after slash in order to
allow breaking there and zero-width non-breaking space ()
between hyphen and slash in order to "glue" them together.

Best regards,
Alexander Peshkov mailto:peshkov at renderx.com

KS> I've run every test I can think of to resolve this instance, but am
KS> unable to come up with a solution.
KS> In the German language there are terms which can be written with
KS> multiple preceding atoms and one common succeeding atom.
KS> The prefixes are separated by a hyphen followed by a forward slash. For
KS> arguments sake we will use the example Luft-/Ölfilter (Air/Oil filter).
KS> Now if this needs to break when rendering it will automatically break
KS> after the hyphen instead of after the slash.
KS> My question is how would I get this to break after the slash.
KS> I've exhausted all the combinations using non-breaking hyphens,
KS> zero-width joiners, etc.
KS> I've investigated modifying the hyphenation library but have been
KS> unsuccessful in finding the solution.
KS> If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

KS> Thank you.
