[xep-support] FreeBSD JVM choice?

Greetings,

I'm about to deploy a new networked rendering server. It will be 
configured as follows:

1x3.2 GHz Xeon processor
3 gig of RAM
FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE
Tomcat 4.1.x

My question is which JVM to install.

Under 4.7-RELEASE I was using the Sun JDK Linux 1.3 port. Has anyone 
tried the native FreeBSD 1.3 distribution?
