[xep-support] questions getting started with COM wrapper

I'm trying to use ASP pages to build an interface for XEP, but not having 
much luck.  I've tried running/looking at the VBclient example but I get 
an error "Automation Error, Unspecified Error, Error Number: -2147467259, 
source: XEPvbclient"

I'm working with XEP 3.5.4 and XEP COM wrapper 1.5 on a Windows XP 
Professional machine.  I'm using traditional ASP, not .Net

If anyone could share examples of ASP code I'd be very appreciative.
