[xep-support] notes at the side of the body text

Hi,

I have to create notes at the side of the body text. On even pages on the left side, on odd pages on the right side. Like:

(odd page)
text text text text
text text text text *
text text text text

(even page)
  text text text text
* text text text text
  text text text text

This is needed when there is an element <changed/> in the xml.

At the moment I work with Xep. Side-floats don't work with the current version. And I didn't succeed with float-before and list-item.

Any suggestions/solutions?
