[xep-support] XEP Questions

We are considering using an XSL FO processor in a desktop application to generate PDF's for the end user from XML data.  We are examining several solutions, including the XEP software libraries provided by RenderX.  Could you please help us answer the following technical questions:

Does the XEP software provide the capability for a solution provider to transform XSL FO into PDF output?

If integrated with a desktop application, would the XEP software only require the XEP (incl. Xalan, etc.) JAR files and the JRE to be used on a client computer?

If a company wishes to integrate with XEP using the COM interface, would the only additional requirement on the client computer be the COM DLLs?
