[xep-announce] XEP COM Wrapper 1.4 available

Dear XEP-announce subscribers,

Version 1.4 of XEP COM wrapper is available at
http://shop.xattic.com/extras.cgi for users
of developer and server editions of XEP.

Changes since version 1.3:

- Long diagnostics messages are now processed correctly.

  Due to a bug in Microsoft implementation of a COM library
  function, long diagnostic messages led to fatal errors. See
  http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/bug_in__bstr_t_amp__varia.asp
  for details. A workaround (different from proposed on the page
  above) has been developed.
